Lockwise Locksmiths is a Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia (MLAA) Business Member, based at our locksmith workshop in Hillcrest, Queensland, and servicing Browns Plains, Logan, Brisbane Southside and surrounding areas. Lockwise joined the Master Locksmiths Association in 2024, but our locksmithing experience extends much further, with decades of practical trade and business experience behind the company. The MLAA is the peak body representing the locksmithing industry across Australia and New Zealand, and its Business Members must meet professional requirements relating to locksmith qualifications, security licensing, insurance and industry standards. An important part of our work as Master Locksmiths is the supply, servicing and ongoing management of Master Locksmiths restricted key systems and master key systems. Lockwise Locksmiths works with the MLAA restricted key platforms used throughout commercial, government, education, industrial and managed properties, including BPA, DC1, ML20 and other Master Locksmiths restricted keyways. We can establish new restricted key and master key systems, identify and work with existing systems, cut authorised restricted keys, rekey locks, add locks or doors to suitable existing systems, expand master key hierarchies and help businesses maintain proper control over who can obtain keys and which areas those keys can access. This makes Lockwise a local point of contact for businesses, schools, factories, body corporates, real estate agencies, property managers and other organisations that already have a Master Locksmiths restricted key system or need a professionally designed key-control system. Lockwise Locksmiths can also supply the Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) to eligible people. The MLAK system was introduced in Australia in 1994 to provide eligible people with disability access to participating accessible facilities fitted with MLAK-compatible locks, including accessible toilets, Changing Places facilities, railway station lifts, council facilities, National Parks and Liberty Swings. If you have an existing BPA, DC1, ML20 or other Master Locksmiths restricted key system, require an MLAK disability access key, or need advice about designing a new restricted or master key system, you can speak directly with Lockwise Locksmiths at our Hillcrest locksmith workshop. We are qualified locksmiths, licensed security professionals and Master Locksmiths Association members with the practical knowledge to manage both individual restricted keys and complex commercial master key systems throughout Brisbane Southside and Logan.
